Why Specify HS1214Z?

Four engineering decisions that turn this device into a project-grade specification.

Ground-up commercial focus

Designed for FCU and VRF integrators, not retrofitted from a residential thermostat — Modbus, dry-contact and 0–10 V on-board.

BMS and Matter at once

RS485 Modbus for legacy BMS, Matter for future-proofing, in a single SKU.

±0.5 °C stability

High-resolution NTC pair plus PI control loop keep guest comfort tight — measurable on TripAdvisor scores.

Hospitality-tuned UI

Glass touch face with welcome-mode, do-not-disturb and SOS scenes built in — no firmware customisation needed.

Q: Does it support 2-pipe / 4-pipe FCU?
Yes, configurable via the app with up to 4 stages cooling/heating.
Q: Can it be tied into a BMS?
Yes — Modbus RTU (RS485) or Modbus TCP gateway optional; KNX retrofit available on request.
Q: What temperature accuracy is delivered?
±0.5 °C with internal NTC sensor; external sensor input is supported on selected SKUs for floor-temperature feedback.
Q: Can multiple thermostats be linked?
Yes, via the TAOS gateway you can group up to 32 zones with master/slave logic.
Q: Does it remember settings after a power outage?
